Second Annual Purple Hike for Epilepsy Fundraiser A Success
The St. Margaret’s Bay Trail was a sea of purple on Sunday October 20th as more than 40 people took part in the Unicorn Theatre’s Annual Purple Hike for Epilepsy. Adding even more colour to the already colourful event, the trail at Station Road, Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, was sporting glorious Autumn oranges, reds, yellows, and yes even a bit of purple.
The Hike was to raise money for the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes (EAM), the Official Charity of Unicorn Theatre.
The pledges and donations totaling more than $4,500 will go to support EAM’s epilepsy education and awareness programs, and to provide support and advocacy services to the many people in Nova Scotia who are living with epilepsy.
Unicorn Theatre would like to thank everyone who participated, as well as the volunteers who made it all happen.
