We Have You Covered!

Whether it’s having an el fresco lunch with your family, finding a shady spot for a rest during a long bike ride, or needing a roof over your head while a rain cloud passes, we have you covered, says the St. Margaret’s Bay Area Rails to Trails Association.
The association has used donated money to erect two new picnic shelters in our community.
The shelters can be found at the Head of the Bay, overlooking Schooner Cove, and in Ingramport, overlooking the bay from that vantage point.
Both are accessible as you travel along the trail.
The shelter at the Head of the Bay was built in memory of Ken Lord, an avid trail cyclist who recently lost his battle with brain cancer.
The shelters were constructed by Derek Strong of Dr. D’s Detailing in Hubley.
