Trail Section closure for maintenance

The trail section from Vinegar Lake Road to the Black Point Fire Department will be closed for approx two weeks due to work on trail.

Also please note:

The Puddle Bridge replacement is soon starting . Gear is going to start being placed the week of Jan 6 2025 with a start date of Jan 13th 2025 .

The closure area is going to be Black Point Fire to Brigleys Road . This project is expected to be a 5-6 month time frame with an open date of May or June 2025. The first phase is removal of old bridge and then new abutments, and the new bridge to be placed . The new bridge is designed to accept up to 40 tonnes which will allow us to maintain as well the bridge will be built with the community in mind in the event of emergency or egress issues due to road impact .

We will update as construction progresses and are excited to see this project up and running as to ensure the infastructure is here for many many years of continued use .
