Trail Re-Opened after Hurricane Fiona

SMBARTA volunteers as well as local contractor dealt with 32 trees on the trail system due to Fiona. The trail was closed during this time by the Department until a full assessment was done, and it’s been completed

We were given approval to re open the trail to all users. SMBARTA would also like to thank the community members, especially in Boutilier’s Point who came out to make the trail safer and assist in tree removals.

The trail section from Station Road in Hubbards to the start of SMBRTA in Hubbards is still closed , they hope to have gravels done this week, as soon as it opens we will post.
